Is it illegal to post videos of fights?

I figure that it is protected under the constitution but I am not sure because of all this uproar over those 8 girls beating up their classmate or teacher(can't remember). I know that they show fights all the time on tv but what about fights at school? Yeah i wasn't even there to see the fight or film it. I snatched the video off of my friends account on break and uploaded it to youtube so we could show people at school. Youtube works at my school but most other media sites do not.
