What is/was a solution to the racial tension uproar that prevailed in the 1992 La Riots?

How do you fix racial tensions?? If it was easy it would already have been achieved. But this is for a class and we need to come up with solutions on how to bring a chaotic Los Angeles community together. Chaotic meaning we are pretending it is 1 month after the La riots and now we are trying to to prevent and heal the mental wounds that occurred.

1. Racial tensions in 1993 L.A. did not end, it was more a matter of emotions running their course, and then cooler heads prevailing. Some changes were made, however there is still a lot of resentment bubbling beneath the surface still today.
