If Obama had been a Republican would there be this much uproar?

I think not! I am a Republican and I voted for Obama, so I am a traitor to the Republican party? No, I am giving the guy a chance. I want change for this country and there would not have been any with McCain. I voted for Bush both times and I am now sad that I did. If Colin Powell had run, would there be this much backlash? Nope. Bring it on. I seriously doubt both of your answers.

1. Yes, it wouldn't have mattered if he was for the Green Party........everyone voted his skin color....they are just not admitting it. Half of the people ( many more that half ) don't even know what Obama stands for...they can only repeat one thing. Change.
2. If Obama had been a Republican, the mainstream media would have hounded him out of the campaign a long time ago.

6. Yes,it would have meant the democrats lost 3 presidential elections in a row and claimed the republicans stole the election by rigging the ballots. You gave him and the democrats the chance to back to the Clinton era and more chances to erode and eliminate your rights. More government control over your life. Obama does not believe the people are capable of taking care of themselves,so the government must protect you from yourself (his words).

8. I voted republican. That doesn't mean I am a republican, I vote for whoever I feel will do the best job for the country. If Obama had been a republican and McCain a democrat, I would have voted democrat. I believe Obama is going to ruin this country more than it already is...and when he does, I'll feel ok with myself because I didn't vote for him!
9. Absolutely not. Nor would he have been elected. Obama was voted in by Americans that wanted to wipe the slate clean and sought to do it through a young harvard-educated scholar. It helped that they would be electing history too. If Obama would have beem JC Watts or Alan Keys, etc. I would rather write in a candidate than vote for those two Bush's with a tan. People like bumblebee is the exact problem in America. I wonder how many non-white candidates she has ever voted for?
