Why aren't Obama supporters in an uproar about the capital gains tax?

But they are freaking out about the gas tax holiday? Obama wants to raise capital gains taxes to 28% which can have SEVERE consequences. The possible negative effects of a couple months of gas tax relief won't even come close to what his capital gains tax increase can do to this country.

1. because most of his supporters have no money to invest. he panders to those who live paycheck to paycheck. they dont understand the economy.
2. Probably because they have NOO idea what it is or what it's purpose is. If it doesnt say change or yes we can then it doesnt register with the simple minded Obama supporter.

4. i have a company with 32 employees. I own 30 vehicles in that company. we go out to business's and homes and work on computers. Now, 5 years ago, I actually averaged 40 thousand a year in my pocket after everything was paid for. Now with gas and everything else up. My employees make more than I do!. So if he raises the capital gainms to 28%. I will have to close doors and put 32 people out of work. I know other small business owners who are just getting by hoping things get better. they have all agreed and said if that tax goes into effect. they will have to close down. Between all of us at the town hall that discussed this. there will about 300 people in our area that are going to loose their jobs. We can NOT afford that tax!
5. Obama supporters are in the lower tax brackets and BENEFIT from government programs. They have no knowledge of income levels in keeping with capital gains tax issues. If anything, monies from capital gains taxes benefits minorities which, Obama wants equalled.
6. Because the gas tax holiday doesn't make ANY sense. The Hil-LIAR-y supporters just can't make up their minds whether he's an elitist or defender of the poor. No wonder he has such mass appeal!! If you're so smart, explain WHY the capital gains tax has such SEVERE consequences. Oh, that's what I thought. Hillary promised 200,000 new jobs for New York; to date: a net loss of 65,000. 300,000 would be lost in construction if the gas tax suspension happens - because she KNOWS that she cannot get a windfall profits tax enacted against the oil companies. Her NAFTA sent thousands of jobs out of the country since the '90's. How many more jobs do we have to lose before people will vote for someone other than a Clinton or a Bush?????
7. Most of Obama supporters aren't tax payers so why should they care if the taxes go up on anything or category? Obama supporters are mostly those who get the "EARNED INCOME CREDIT."
8. Because most of his supporters do not know what capital gains tax is.
