catch you on the flipside?

is it more of a... see you later.... or talk to you later? i know what it is. but i don't know if it's see or talk to you later. 'cause there IS a difference in this case.

  2. The term was coined in the music business when music was on records. If the promoter liked a particular musician, he would tell him "catch you on the flip side" meaning get me another song to put on the reverse of the single. This day and age, with cd's, there is no flip side, so, I guess we could say "catch you on the next track"??
  3. It means HEY if you do a back flip off this burning bus I will catch you.
