In super paper mario do you have to beat the pit of 100 trials in flipside before you play the flopside one?

3. Yes and then you do the flopside one and you get nothing!!! you have to do it another time before Mario can turn flipside for unlimited time.
4. Yes, you have to finish that one first. Then you do the second one twice to get a Dark Mario card which keeps your flip meter unlimited.
